We are a Midlands-based social enterprise, and since 2012 have been working in primary schools across the area, supporting the emotional well-being of pupils of all ages.
Creating foundations for healthy behaviour
We know that social and emotional well-being creates the foundations for healthy behaviours and educational attainment. That's why we believe it is important to focus on the social and emotional development of children and young people.
Addressing emotional needs of children
Early intervention in childhood can help reduce physical and mental health problems. Through our programs we want to address the emotional needs of children and thus keep the levels of social and emotional well-being at a healthy level during their childhood and hopefully to have a positive effect on their well-being later on as young people and adults.
Tailored-provision to each child
We are a unique provider in that we tailor our provision around each individual child or group of children that we work with. Through all of our sessions our aim is to nurture children's emotional, mental and physical well-being, and to create a safe space where they can develop their sense of self-worth, self-identity and self- belief.
Delivering creative sessions
We deliver lessons, workshops, small group programs and mentoring sessions using a wide variety of tools, e.g. exercise, art, craft, scrap-booking, martial arts, or if you need us to simply be a listening ear.
Our learning outcomes
The sessions can be adapted for any age. They can also be single-sex groups, mixed groups or 1-2-1. Each program is designed to teach the following life skills:
- Emotional resilience
- Anger management
- Health and lifestyle
- Learning how to learn
- Self-identity and self-worth
- Critical thinking
- And more...
